* County Caseworker 2

Minimum Requirements for Caseworker 2 - Six months of experience as a County Caseworker 1; OR successful completion of the County Social Casework Intern program; OR a bachelor's degree with a social welfare or social work major; OR a bachelor's degree which includes, or is supplemented by 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences, and one year of professional social casework experience in a public or private social services agency; OR an equivalent combination of experience and training which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.

Nature of Job - This is a professional level position located at the CMSU Developmental Supports & Services Early Intervention office in Danville. The employee provides service coodination to children from birth to age three years who are eligible to receive early intervention services. Important aspects of this job are conducting developmental screenings, assessing service needs, and developing an individualized family service plan. The intent of service coordination is to assist families in accessing and receiving services specific to their child's developmental needs. The employee coordinates and monitors the provision of early intervention services. The employee must have technical and personal skills related to knowledge of family and team dynamics, conflict resolution, fiscal management, disabilities and communication.
